GMP-LAB-2023

Quantitative transmission electron microscopy (QuTEM) is gaining recognition as a next-generation approach for AAV characterization.

Viralgen recently highlighted QuTEM for its ability to classify particles as empty, partial, or full and provide particle-level insight, giving developers visibility into both the quantity and type of partials in a sample.

This sets QuTEM apart from traditional cryo-TEM, especially when combined with complementary methods, offering deeper characterization in a single assay. We continue to expand its functionality, helping developers tackle the growing complexity of AAV development and release testing.
